From the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Lauren Lukow is a Swiss-American film & media producer, production manager, and consultant based in Los Angeles.
Lauren's producorial work has been showcased at internationally renowned festivals including Slamdance, SIFF, Palm Springs Shortfest, Nitehawk, Hollyshorts, PROOF, Nashville, Tokyo, LALIFF, among others. Her short, Mara Has Three Jobs in San Juan Puerto Rico, premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, followed by a theatrical window of distribution playing in front of Barbie and Blue Bettle, and can be streamed on Hulu and Kanopy.
For nearly six years, Lauren worked for the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program as their Manager of Producing and Artist Support. In this role, she oversaw the Producers Track and provided year-round creative and strategic support to 40+ fiction feature projects annually, helping to advance these projects from script stage to distribution. Films championed during her tenure include A Thousand and One, Cassandro, Costa Brava Lebanon, Fancy Dance, Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul., Late Bloomers, Mutt, Nanny, Nine Days, The American Society of Magical Negroes, The President’s Cake, and Wild Indian. Prior, Lauren was on the development team at Pixar Animation Studios where she supported their in-house filmmakers in the earliest phases of their incubation process for features and shorts such as Soul, Luca, and Purl.
Today, Lauren continues to consult for Sundance while independently producing across film and media. She is a 2024 Film Independent Project Involve Producing Fellow and a 2024 NYU Production Lab Development Studio Fellow. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and currently pursuing her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential in Leadership and Performance Coaching through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at Brown University -- expanding her work at the intersection of artist development, entrepreneurship, and storytelling.
